Message Overview:
Message Description:
The amber 'R WING A/I LOW TEMP' CAS message will appear when a low temperature condition is sensed at the wing and no other fail messages from the air system are present. If other failures from the air system are present, the R WING ANTI-ICE FAIL message will overwrite the R WING A/I LOW TEMP message.
Possible Causes:
- Integrated Air System Controller (IASC1)
- Data Concentrator Unit (DCU) (A14)
- Wing Leading Edge Temperature Sensors
- Right Anti-Ice Valves
- Cross-flow Anti-Ice Valves
Troubleshooting Tips:
Advisory Wire/Service Bulletin:

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Perform AMM to verify the proper operation of the wing leading edge temperature sensors.
- If any of the sensors fail the above check, replace the sensor.
- Entering the system diagnostics LRU tests for IASC 1B and 2B will allow viewing of the wing temperature sensors.
- Selecting the wing anti-ice sensor status will bring up the individual temperature sensors.
- With wing heat on, the system will try and regulate the inner sensors to 54°C. The AMM has this checked at idle and power settings assuring that the left, right, and cross-flow ANTI-ICE valves operate correctly.
- Displayed will be the following parameters on the sub system page:
- Left Inboard Leading Edge Temperature °C
- Left Outboard Leading Edge Temperature °C
- Right Inboard Leading Edge Temperature °C
- Right Outboard Leading Edge Temperature °C
