Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Internet ATG 4000/5000 Transceiver Software Upgrade:

It should be noted that a Software Update of ATG firmware should be performed while the ATG is attached to a LAN that is operational. D20136-005 Rev B - Service Information Letter ATG 4000 and 5000 Transceiver Software Upgrade via Compact Flash outlines the following:

Two (2) labor hours (estimated) will be required.

  1. Access to the ATG LRU.
  2. Windows-based Laptop Computer operation experience.
  3. Access to an Ethernet port on the Access or ATG system in the aircraft.
  4. An Ethernet cable for connection from a Laptop to the Ethernet port or a Wi-Fi access point.
  5. Aircraft, ATG 4000/5000 Transceiver and Aircraft Configuration Module (ACM) power is available.
  6. Aircraft power is available and ARINC 429 data (GPS) operational position is acquired.

Software updates should ideally be done on-board the aircraft while the entire system is operational. If any additional assistance is required, please contact Gogo Technical Support at 303-301-3278.

Wireless charging guidance

The intent of this TIPS is to provide additional guidance on the usage of the wireless chargers.

These wireless chargers are found on the Challenger 3500 models.
