Reference AW000-53-0023:

In the MRBR Section 5-22-00 (Structure Program), it is stated that CPCP is required to maintain the aircraft resistance to corrosion, as per the MSG-3 analysis requirements. The CPCP inspection criteria also cover proper reporting of all corrosion findings.

When operators are doing scheduled maintenance TLMC CPCP tasks, they should be aware that SRM 51-27- 00 (Corrosion Types and Identification) provides useful information for identification and evaluation of the type and level of corrosion.

For any level of corrosion findings (Level 1, 2 or 3) the operators are required to fill out the CDR form and submit it to Bombardier via email at: bacs_ca_mpp@aero.bombardier.com.
