Select color for CAS message that you wish to troubleshoot

(WARNING)
RED MESSAGE (CAUTION)
AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

This message will post to EICAS when any input information required for the RAAS is faulted or if the TAWS Computer is failed, considering that the RAAS is not OFF.

RAAS enabled, but the system either has no position information or the accuracy of the position information is insufficient to allow RAAS to function.

taws basic fail arrow btn

Some or all of the basic modes (Mode 1 through 6) of the TAWS have failed.

TAWS has failed .

taws terr fail arrow btn

Terrain function of the TAWS has failed.

taws terr not avail arrow btn

TAWS terrain data base has no data for the current location.

taws windshear fail arrow btn

Windshear function of the TAWS has failed.

tss fan fail arrow btn

For aircraft with TSS installation: The cooling fan on the TSS mounting tray is not operating properly.

xpdr 1 fail arrow btn

For aircraft with TSS installation: Transponder 1 is inoperative.

xpdr 2 fail arrow btn

For aircraft with TSS installation: Transponder 2 is inoperative.

irs 1 in att arrow btn

IRU 1 is in Attitude mode.

irs 2 in att arrow btn

IRU 2 is in Attitude mode.

raas off arrow btn

This message will post to EICAS when the RAAS button located at the TAWS WARN is switched to OFF (illuminating on the switch).

taws flaps off arrow btn

Flap warning function of the TAWS has been set OFF.

taws gs warn off arrow btn

Glideslope warning function of the TAWS has been set OFF.

taws terr off arrow btn

Terrain warning function of the TAWS has been set Off.

xpdr in stby arrow btn

Either XPDR1 or XPDR2 is in standby mode.
