Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

The cyan 'WING SOURCE-XBLEED' advisory CAS message indicates the wing cross-bleed valve is detected failed in the 'OPEN' position.

  • Component status can be viewed through the MDC system diagnostics IASC channel B LRU test.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check wiring between the Wing Cross Valve and the DCU. Disconnect MPE10P1 from the Wing Cross Valve and check on pin 3 if the is no ground detected using an Ohm Meter.
  2. Check wiring the Anti-Ice Panel. Disconnect S7P1, set the rotary switch WING SOURCE to NORM and check that there is no continuity between pin X and pin W, and then between pin X and pin U.
