(WARNING)
RED MESSAGE (CAUTION)
AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

  • Integrated Air System Controller (IASC1) (A55)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check the left MFD circuit breaker CB1 C5, reset and re-check MDC for the bus fault.
  2. Check 429 LS data bus (L-MFD-2) A29P1 Pins 77 Hi, 79 Lo, to IASC #1 A55P2 Pin 35 Hi, 8 Lo.
  3. Suspect the MFD for being faulty, interchange or remove and replace.
  4. Operational Test.
  5. Suspect the #1 IAS controller, remove and replace.
  6. Operational Test.
  7. System Schematic 21-23 Pg 3 for IASC data bus wiring.
