The FSA-5000 is software that is loaded on the FSU-5010 and includes three feature options: The display of electronic charts, enhanced map overlays, and graphical weather.

1. Check the part number of the FSA and software version for the FSU 2.

   1. Refer to tables below for Software Versions. For verification of software loaded on the aircraft, verify that the FSA part number and CRC on the Multi-function Display match those in the compatibility chart.

The FSA-5000 part number, build date and cyclical redundancy check number for the CPR load set are also available on the avionics display. 2. If the part number or software version is not compatible, install the correct software to FSU 2, refer to the FSU-5010 section of the Field Loadable Software Installation Manual (CPN 523-0806267) for installation instructions.
   NOTE:

   1. The FSA-5000 must be installed prior to enabling applications.
   2. The FSA-5000 must be installed prior to installing the databases.
      Refer to the IFIS Installation manual (CPN 523-0780854) for installation specifics.

3. If the message can not be cleared after the above actions, swap the FSU 2 with the FSU 1 (A221).
4. If step 3 does not help, replace the FSU No. 2.
