These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

Right engine thrust reverser TQA fault 1B.

TR TQA 1B.
An open circuit fault in the TQA solenoid wiring between the TQA solenoid pylon junctions and the ECU B, or the ECU B was sensed.

Possible Causes:

  • A short in the Harness between the Throttle Quadrant Assembly (TQA) Pylon Junctions and the ECU B
  • Forward Balk Solenoids in the Throttle Quadrant Assembly (TQA)
  • Reverse Balk Solenoids in the Throttle Quadrant Assembly (TQA)
  • Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) Electronic Control Unit B (ECU) (A42)
