Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Power up the aircraft and service the water tank either galley or lavatory.
  2. Ensure the tank strap is tight and tank is flat on the quick disconnect port.
  3. Inspect the water sterilizer front panel.

    1. If the FAIL LED is lit, replace the water Sterilizer and do close out.
    2. If the FAIL LED is not lit, continue with next step.

  4. Inspect the water Sterilizer filter element for clogging due to sediments.

    1. If the water Sterilizer filter element is clogged, replace the filter.
    2. If the filter element is not clogged, continue with next step.

  5. If the Reset PBA continues to flash white and green after servicing the water tank, continue with next step.
  6. Locate the Purge switch behind the sink access panel in the lavatory vanity. Press and hold the purge switch for 3 seconds to open the purge valve or drain.
NOTE: You can also press and hold the reset switch for 3 to 5 seconds to purge the water too.
NOTE: Place a bucket under the aircraft to catch the water.
  7. To manually purge use the manual drain handle located in the lower rear galley compartment and open the quick disconnect trap door.
  8. Purge the water tank till the water tank is half full.
NOTE: If system is purged for 30 sec or longer you will need to push reset to continue draining.
  9. Fill the water tank to full.
  10. Press the reset, make sure that water flow is OK and the reset switch does not flash. The active green LED should be illuminated when ready.
  11. Repeat purging process until air is removed from system.
  12. If the reset PBA continues to flash then inspect the quick disconnect hose and fitting to insure there is no defects or air leaks.
NOTE: Every time the water tank is removed there will be air in the system and it will need to be purged. Ensure water tank holding straps are tight after reinstalling the tank.
  13. Do close out.
