Message Description:
The white 'TAWS FLAPS OFF' status CAS message indicates the flap warning function of the terrain awareness warning system has been selected off.
- The flap selection is controlled by a PBA on the pedestal and is used in abnormal flap landing configurations. More info is covered in the TAWS system.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
Verify the flap switch for proper operation.
- With the flap off Switch SD S49 pressed in, a ground is supplied to the A34P1 pin 18 for the computer to inhibit flap information. The switch in the normally open, or "ON" position should remove the ground on pin 18 and enable the flap configurations to be called out.
