Message Overview:

L ENG OIL PRESS LOW
(Warning)

DDG Reference: None
Pilot Action (QRH): EMER-11-6
System Description: 79-30-00
Schematic Diagram: 79-31-00
Wiring Diagram: 79-31-05

Message Description:

The red 'L ENG OIL PRESS LOW' warning CAS message indicates engine oil pressure is low.

  • The dual channel oil pressure transducer supplies a continuous indication of the differential pressure between the oil supply and aft sump scavenge oil pressures. If oil pressure is low, the ECU will supply a low pressure warning signal. The oil pressure transducer is installed on the AGB oil tank assembly. The ECU supplies a conditioned DC voltage signal to the air frame for indication of oil pressure and an ARINC output for low-oil-pressure warning.
  • In the event of low oil pressure, the ECU will provide a 'L ENG OIL PRESS LOW' warning signal. Catastrophic damage to the engine could occur if operation is continued.
