Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Reset L IAPS Circuit Breaker CB1-B6, R IAPS Circuit Breaker CB2-B6 and IAPS FAN Circuit Breaker CB3-E1. Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, do close out.
NOTE: Before you open the IAPS circuit breakers, make sure that all Engine FADEC circuit breakers are open. If the Engine FADEC circuit breakers remain closed, Engine Igniters will activate. This can cause injury to persons and damage to equipment.

  2. With a multimeter, verify presence of 28 VDC and GND for the IEC at the IAPS Card Cage (A4).

    From To Expected Result Result
    Conn. A4P4 - F Aircraft Ground 28 VDC
    Conn. A4P4 - G Aircraft Ground ≈ 0Ω

    1. If verification is satisfactory, go to step 5.
    2. If verification is not satisfactory, continue with next step.

  3. Do wiring check between the IAPS Card Cage (A4) and the Left Secondary Power Center (A37).

    From To Result
    Conn. A4P4 - F A37P3 - 35
    Conn. A4P4 - G Aircraft Ground

    1. If check is satisfactory, continue with next step.
    2. If check is not satisfactory, repair defective wire.

  4. Replace Left Secondary Power Center (A37) and do close out.
  5. Replace IEC. Is the fault message still present?

    1. If NO, do close out.
    2. If YES, continue with next step.

  6. Replace IAPS card cage (A4).
  7. Do close out.
