Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Confirm SATCOM FAN is operating correctly and air flow is passing through SDU venting holes.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Confirm presence of 28 VDC and grounds at SATCOM FAN connector B195P1.
- If power and grounds are present, go to step 6.
- If power is not present, go to step 4.
- If grounds are not present, continue with next step.
- Repair ground wiring and/or ground stud.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Do the wiring check from R DCPC connector A36P4 to SATCOM FAN connector B195P1. Repair/replace as required.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace SDU mounting tray.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace SDU.
- Do close out.
