RED MESSAGE (CAUTION)
AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

Proximity Sensor Electronic Unit detects an overload condition on the discrete output to the left DC Motor Pump (DCMP).

Possible Causes:

  • Hydraulic Control Panel (PL11)
  • Right DC Power-Center Protection (DCPC) (PCB2)
  • Proximity Sensor Electronic Unit (A9)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Do wiring check from the Hydraulic Control Panel connector PL11P2 Pin 15 to the PSEU connector A9CP1 Pin 7C. Repair as required.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains continue with next step.

  2. Do wiring check from the Hydraulic Control Panel connector PL11P2 Pin 13 to the Right DC Power Center connector A36P4 Pin 7. Repair as required.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Replace the Hydraulic Control Panel.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Replace the PCB2 (Right DC Power Center).

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  5. Replace the Proximity Sensor Electronic Unit.
  6. Do close out.
