Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Access the MDC 'LRU TEST' page.
  2. Carry out the outboard BCU 'WHEEL SPEED XDCR TEST'.

    1. If the LEFT WHEEL SPEED TRANSDUCER RESISTANCE TEST fails, go to next step.
    2. If the test passed, do close out.

  3. Pull LCBP-C15 (OUTBD BRAKES), LCBP-C14 (WOW B), RCBP-C13 (WOW B/EXT).
  4. Disconnect wheel well connector P509 (4).
  5. Do a resistance check between pins 1 and 2 of connector P509. The resistance-to-temperature reading must be within the limits shown on Figure 1001.

    1. If resistance is not within limits, do the following:

      1. Remove right outboard wheel speed transducer.
      2. Do a resistance check between pins A and B of the wheel speed transducer. The resistance-to-temperature reading must be within the limits shown on Figure 1001.

        1. If resistance is not within limits, replace wheel speed transducer.
        2. If resistance is within limits, repair wiring between P509 and wheel speed transducer.

    2. If resistance is within limits, go to next step.

  6. Replace BCU.
