Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

No R-ADC data received at the R-IOC and 3-of (AHC2, MFD2, PFD2, MFD1, PFD1, SPC-B).

Possible Causes:

  • Right Air Data Computer (ADC) (A2)
  • Reversion Select Panel (PL27)
  • Relay (K130)
  • Right Secondary Power Center (SPC) (A38)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Reset AIR DATA 2 (CB2-C1) circuit breaker. Is the fault still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, do close out.

  2. Confirm AIR DATA Switch (Reversion Select Panel) and Relay K130 (Right Secondary Power Center) are operating as per drawing [presence of 28 VDC / Grounds at Right ADC connector A2P1].

    1. If wiring defects are found, repair defective wiring as required and do close out.
    2. If no wiring defects are found, continue with next step.

  3. Remove and re-rack the right ADC, making sure it is fully and properly inserted into place. Is the fault still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, do close out.

  4. Replace the right ADC.
  5. Do close out.
