NOTES:
- If the aircraft is equipped with a KA Band Viasat modem system, modem failure may result in failure of the RAT ALT.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Reset RAD ALT (CB1-A7) circuit breaker.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Confirm the presence of the 28 VDC and the grounds at Radio Altimeter Receiver connector A32P1. Repair/replace as required.
- If system are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Verify the antenna and make sure no corrosion or water ingress is found between the antenna and the skin. Also is recommended to verify the Electrical bonding resistance of the Radio Altimeter Antenna as per SPM 51-80-00-760-802.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace Radio Altimeter Receiver or Antenna.
- Do close out.
