Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Do wiring check between the APU ECU (A39) and the Oil Temp Sensor (RT01) for the following wires:
From To Result Conn. A39AP1-4C Conn. RT01P1-A Conn. A39AP1-4D Conn. RT01P1-B - If the check is satisfactory, continue with next step.
- If the check is not satisfactory, repair defective wiring.
- Replace the Oil Temp Sensor (RT01). Is the fault message still present\?
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
NOTE: The internal resistance of the Oil Temp Sensor can be measure (A - B). The resistance range is approximately between 75 Ω and 222 Ω. However, a satisfactory check is NOT a confirmation of a good Oil Temp Sensor.
- Replace APU ECU (A39).
- Do close out.
