Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Honeywell recommends the troubleshooting and corrective action at the first opportunity to follow an oil filter impending bypass indication. If, abnormal debris is found in the filter or the time since the last filter change is unusually short, the engine can be operated a maximum of 10 hours. This applies if the criteria that follows is met:
* No chips light.
* The engine vibration levels are normal.
* The oil temperature, pressure and other engine parameters are normal.
* The opposite engine operating parameters are normal. - MCID 1013 fault present, troubleshoot using the following steps for aircraft and engine fault isolation with reference to the Light Engine Maintenance Manual Subtask 72-00-00-810-173-A01.
- If an oil filter impending bypass indication has occurred and the above specifications are not met contact the Honeywell Customer Support Engineer before departure.
