WHITE MESSAGE
Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

The red 'IAS' warning flag indicates invalid airspeed source.

  • A loss of all data from the selected ADC, most likely caused by a Air Data Computer fault or power failure.
  • Verification of system failure, or data bus loss can be checked on the MDC current fault page for further system details.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Perform MDC Current/History Fault check, looking for ISI fault code.

    1. If fault code is found, consult the Challenger 350 Diagnostic Guide to interpret codes to perform related troubleshooting.
    2. If no fault code is found, continue with next step.

  2. Perform pitot line P3 and static line S3 contamination removal.
    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, clean or replace Pitot Static port (P3).
    3. If fault remains,
    4. Replace Integrated Standby Instrument.

  3. Do close out.
