Message Overview:
Message Description:
The amber 'VS' caution flag identifies that the on-side V-Speed data is inaccurate.
- Vertical speed computations are made based on the loaded performance data base in the FMS. Valid aircraft information and take-off conditions must be programmed.
- If the conditions are met, data bus information for display is internal to the IAPS from the Flight Management 850 cards.
- MDC troubleshooting information may help isolate data validity, prior to component replacement and data bus ring-out.
Possible Causes:
- Air Data Computer (ADC) (A1)
- Primary Flight Display (PFD) (A29)
- Multi-Function Flight Display (MFD) (A27)
- Associated Wiring
