Message Overview:
Message Description:
The amber 'VNAV' caution flag identifies that the on-side Vertical Navigation data is inaccurate.
- Vertical navigation computations are made based on the loaded flight plan in the FMS. A valid flight plan and valid assent / descent profile need to be programmed. If the conditions are met, data bus information for display is internal to the IAPS from the Flight Management 850 cards.
- MDC troubleshooting information may help isolate data validity, prior to component replacement and data bus ring-out.
Possible Causes:
- Flight Management Computer 1 (FMC 1) (A4-FMC1)
- Flight Management Computer 2 (FMC 2) (A4-FMC2)
- Associated Wiring
