Standard Practices - Wire Repair SPM 20-12-10-02

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Clean Cockpit Vents (MT28). Ref AW300-21-0045 for information. See if the fault clears.
  2. Check and reset circuit breaker CB2 E10 R WING BLD LK.
  3. Check for 28 VDC at the cockpit ventilated temperature sensor MT37P1 between pins 1 (Pos.), 2 (Neg.). Fix or repair wiring as required.
  4. Swap cockpit and cabin VENTS or replace the cockpit vent to see if fault follows, IAW AMM.
  5. If the fault still exists, gain access to IASC 1 and IASC 2 and check the following:

    1. IASC 1 Plug A55P1, check pin 52 to ground and pin 30 to ground.
    2. IASC 1 Plug A55P1, check pin 52 to 30. Record resistance then swap leads and recheck, (there's a diode in the VENTS).
    3. IASC 2 Plug A56P1, check pin 52 to ground and pin 30 to ground.
    4. IASC 2 Plug A56P1, check pin 52 to 30. Record resistance then swap leads and recheck, (there's a diode in the VENTS).

  6. Operational test IAW AMM TASK 21-61-25-000-801, AMM TASK 21-61-25-400-801.
