RED MESSAGE (CAUTION)
AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

The internal pressure sensor of the IASC-1 is detected out of range or disagrees with the Air Data Computer data and the IASC-2 sensor.

  • Integrated Air System Controller (IASC-1) (A55)
  • Integrated Air System Controller (IASC-2) (A56) Sensor
  • Air Data Computer (ADC) (A1)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check the #1 IAS controller circuit breaker CB1 D14 & CB1 E10, reset and re-check MDC for the bus fault.
  2. Suspect the #1 Integrated Air System Controller is at fault. Cross compare the #1 IAS controller channel A cabin pressure sensor status to ambient or test pressures. Access the pressurization raw data through the MDC IASC LRU TEST page, further details are covered in section (21-23-00).
  3. Perform the operational test of the cabin pressure control system.
  4. Suspect the #1 IAS controller, remove and replace Integrated Air System (IAS) Controller.
  5. Operational test of the Integrated Air System (IAS) Controller.
