Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Reset R IAPS (CB2-B6) circuit breaker.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. Swap IOCs.

    1. If system check passes, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Do a wiring check of the ARINC 429 data bus R-IOC-2 from IAPS connector A4P103, through Junction Box 2, to all receiving LRUs. Repair/replace as required.

    1. If system check passes, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.
NOTE: An internal short of any LRUs connected to this data bus might cause this failure.

  4. Disconnect File Server Unit 2.

    1. If fault remains, go to step 6.
    2. If system check passes, continue with next step.

  5. Swap FSUs.

    1. If system check passes, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  6. Disconnect Weather Radar Receiver/Transmitter and Antenna.

    1. If fault remains, go to step 8.
    2. If system check passes, continue with next step.

  7. Replace Weather Radar Receiver/Transmitter and Antenna.

    1. If system check passes, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  8. Disconnect Data Loader Panel.

    1. If fault remains, go to step 10.
    2. If system check passes, continue with next step.

  9. Replace Data Loader Panel.

    1. If system check passes, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  10. Replace Traffic/Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) and Traffic Surveillance System (TSS) Transponder Unit.

    1. If system check passes, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  11. Replace Right Air Traffic Control (ATC) Transponder.

    1. If system check passes, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  12. Replace ICC.
  13. Do close out.
