Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Reset HF 1 Circuit Breaker CB1-B3. Is the fault message still present?
    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, do close out.

  2. Interchange Left HF Transceiver (A61) with right HF Transceiver (A62). Is the fault message still present\?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace defective HF Transceiver.

  3. Do close out.
  4. Make sure all PWR & Chassis ground are present at the HF#1 Transceiver.

    1. If fault is corrected, continue to next step.
    2. If fault persist, contact CRC for additional troubleshooting using the MDC download submitted in step 3.

  5. Make sure power is present at the HF#1 Transceiver. Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, do close out.

  6. Check all Fiber Optics between #1 HF Antenna Coupler to the HF#1 Transceiver. Is the fault message still present?
(i.e. HF 1 transceiver P3 and HF Antenna Coupler P2).

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, do close out.

  7. Interchange Antenna Coupler 1 with Antenna Coupler 2. If the problem is still on the same side, proceed with the steps below.
  8. Download MDC and send all files back to the CRC for review.
