(STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE
Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

Failure or problem is reported in the right HF Antenna coupler.

  • Antenna/Coupler output fault (Label 351 - Bit 19)
  • Coupler RF module overtemp (Label 351 - Bit 20)
  • Antenna tune fault (Label 351 - Bit 21)
  • Coupler RF output overvoltage (Label 351 - Bit 23)
  • Antenna coupler fault (Label 351 - Bit 28)

Possible Causes:

  • Right HF Antenna Coupler (CP6)
  • Right HF Transceiver (A62)
  • Associated Wiring

Advisory Wire/Service Bulletin: None

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Reset HF 2 Circuit Breaker CB2-B3 and HF 2 PWR Circuit Breaker CB6-A1. Is the fault message still present?
    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, do close out.

  2. Swap right HF Antenna Coupler (CP6) with Left HF Antenna Coupler (CP5). Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace defective HF Antenna Coupler.

  3. Swap right HF Transceiver (A62) with Left HF Transceiver (A61). Is the fault message still present?
    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, replace defective HF Transceiver.

  4. Contact your FSR for additional Troubleshooting procedure.
  5. Do close out.
