CSU Configuration (CSU wd 14 strap 5) indicates a CVR installation with the capability to report CVR diagnostics.

1. Reset CVR Circuit Breaker (CB1-D6) (A/C 20501 - 20739 Pre SB 350-31-004) or CVR Circuit Breaker (CB2-D7) (A/C 20501 - 20739 Post SB 350-31-004 and A/C 20740 and SUBS). Is the fault message still present?

1. If YES, continue with next step.
2. If NO, do close out.

2. Confirm presence of the 28 VDC by measuring VDC between A129P1 pin 9 and GND (A129P1 pin 17 Chassis Ground) at the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) (A129) (Pre SB 350-23-009) / Recorder Independent Power Supply (RIPS) (A229) (Post SB 350-23-009).

   Measurement at:	Chassis GND:	Expected Result:	Result:
   Conn. A129P1 - 9	GND or (A129P1 - 17)	28 VDC

   1. If YES, go to Step 3.
   2. If NO, check CVR Impact Switch (S142) and perform wiring check between the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) (A129) (Pre SB 350-23-009) / Recorder Independent Power Supply (RIPS) (A229) (Post SB 350-23-009) and Circuit Breaker for the following wires:

3. Replace Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) (A129) (Pre SB 350-23-009) / Recorder Independent Power Supply (RIPS) (A229) (Post SB 350-23-009). Is the fault message still present?

   1. If YES, do close out.
   2. If NO, continue with next step.

4. Perform wiring check CVR-1 A429 HS Output to DCU1 per the following table:
