Message Description:
Both Left Engine Bottle 2 Bridgewires have failed or both wires are open.
Possible Causes:
- Left Engine Discharge Cartridge (A113) of Fire Bottle No. 2
- Fire-Detection-and-Extinguishing Control Unit (FIREX CU) (A91)
- Junction Box 4 (JB4)
- Associated Wiring

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS ARE NOT ENERGIZED WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR TO THE DISCHARGE CARTRIDGE. IF THE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS ARE ENERGIZED, THE DISCHARGE CARTRIDGE CAN FIRE ACCIDENTALLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Pull and reset FIREX Control Unit (A91) circuit breakers CB6-A4 and CB5-A3. Is the fault message still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, do close out.
- Swap Left Engine Discharge Cartridge (A113) of Fire Bottle no. 2 with one of the 2 other Discharge Cartridge (A114 or A115) of Fire Bottle no. 2. Is the message fault still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, replace defective Discharge Cartridge.
- Do wiring check between Left Engine Discharge Cartridge (A113) of Bottle 2 to FIREX Control Unit (A91), through JB4, for the following wires:
From To Results Conn A113P1 - 1 Conn A91P2 - 26 Conn A113P1 - 2 Ground Conn A113P1 - 3 Conn A91P2 - 26 Conn A113P1 - 4 Ground - If check is not satisfactory, repair wiring or replace JB4.
- If check is satisfactory, continue with next step.
- Replace FIREX Control Unit (A91).
- Do close out.
