Message Description:
No ARINC L-GPBUS-5 data received at Left Spoiler Electronic Control Unit (L-SECU 1).
Right Spoiler Electronic Control Unit (RL-SECU 1) and Data Concentrator (DCU) Ch. A are not reporting failure in ARINC L-GP-5 databus.
Possible Causes:
- Spoiler Electronic-Control Unit 1 (SECU 1) (A118)
- Junction Box 2 (JB2)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Follow the circuit breakers reset procedure documented in AW300-27-0037.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Visually inspect SECU's and tray's connectors for damages. Repair/replace as required.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Swap SECUs.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
NOTE: An Electronic Rigging of the SECUs is necessary after a swap or a SECU replacement.
- Do wiring checks of the ARINC L-GP-5 data bus between DCU connector A14DP1, Junction Box 2 tests points (TP 2 ARINC HI - TP 3 ARINC LO) and SECU 1 connector A118AP1 (both inputs: command and monitor). Repair/replace as required.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Replace Junction Box 2.
- Do close out.
