RED MESSAGE (CAUTION)
AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Check the Radio Altimeter system for proper operation and display, troubleshoot first.
  2. Check the ARINC L-GP-5 bus wiring for continuity and shorts to the shield per the AWM.
  3. Swap the IOCs for possible IOC failure per AMM TASK 31-45-05-000-801.
  4. If the fault still exists, replace #1 SECU per AMM TASK 27-61-05-000-801, (Spoiler system must be rigged after SECU replacement AMM TASK 27-61-05-820-801 (20003 - 20146), AMM TASK 27-61-05-820-802. (20001, 20147 - 20500).
