Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Follow the circuit breakers reset procedure documented in AW300-27-0037.
  2. Check the current faults and fault history for problems related to the Left Inboard Ground Spoiler Proximity Sensor (LINGSST Sensor / ATA27-60).

    1. If one of the listed fault is found, continue with the troubleshooting of this failure.
    2. If none of the listed faults is recorded in the MDC, continue with next step.

  3. Do Electronic Rigging of the Spoiler Electronic-Control Unit.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Visually inspect SECU's and tray's connectors for damages. Repair/replace as required.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  5. Swap SECUs.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.
NOTE: An Electronic Rigging of the SECUs is necessary after a swap or a SECU replacement.

  6. Do Rigging Check of the Ground-Spoiler Control Surface.

    1. If check is good, go to step 8.
    2. If check is not good, continue with next step.

  7. Do Rigging of the Ground-Spoiler Control Surface.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  8. Do wiring checks between SECU 2 connector A119AP1 and Ground Spoiler Selector Valve 2 connector MPE35P1. Repair/replace as required.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  9. Swap Ground Spoiler Selector Valves.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  10. Swap Ground Spoiler Actuators. (All Ground Spoiler Actuators are interchangeable).
  11. Do close out.
