Message Overview:
Message Description:
The left and right AOA measurements miscompare. Check for AOA sensor(s) drifted or uncompensated aerodynamic effect.
Possible Causes:
- Angle-Of-Attack Sensor (LH) (A141)
- Angle-Of-Attack Sensor (RH) (A142)
- Stall Protection Computer (SPC) (A178)
- Associated Wiring
Troubleshooting Tips:

If the amber 'STALL PROTECT FAIL' caution CAS message appears after SPC power up, reset the SPC circuit breakers 'SPC CH A' (CBP1-B10) and 'SPC CH B' (CBP2-B10).
If the message appears following a PAT, then reset the SPC circuit breakers 'SPC CH A' (CBP1-B10) and 'SPC CH B' (CBP2-B10). Perform another PAT and make sure the message does not come back.
Enter the MAINTENANCE MAIN MENU. With the CCP 2, make the selection of the SYSTEM PARAMETERS page 2/2. You will be able to monitor the integrity of the R AOA vane position.
- Move the right AOA vane to the up stop: The compensated body AOA is between 58.66 to 65.50 degrees on the MFD 2.
- Move the right AOA vane to the down stop: The compensated body AOA is between -53.50 to -60.34 degrees on the MFD 2.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Reset the SPC circuit breakers 'SPC CH A' (CBP1-B10) and 'SPC CH B' (CBP2-10) and perform an SPC operational test (PAT).
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue to next step.
- Do wiring check between SPC and AOAs vane. Repair as required.
