Message Description:
The RIGHT ICE DETECTOR is detected failed by the Stall Protection Computer or the discrete wiring to the Stall Protection Computer is failed open circuit.
Possible Causes:
- Right Ice Detector (A66)
- Stall Protection Computer (SPC) (A178)
- Circuit Breaker
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Reset Right Ice Detector circuit breaker CB2-E7. Is the fault message still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, do close out.
- Check for presence of 28 VDC / Ground Returns at the Right Ice Detector (A66) as per the following table:
Measurement at Expected Results Results A66P1 - A 28 VDC A66P1 - G 28 VDC A66P1 - B Ground A66P1 - H Ground - If check is satisfactory, continue with next step.
- If check is not satisfactory, repair the defective wire or replace the defective circuit breaker.
- Do wiring check between Stall Protection Computer (A178) and Right Ice Detector (A66) for the following wires:
From To Results A178BP1 - 21 A66P1 - K - If wiring check is satisfactory, continue with next step.
- If wiring check is not satisfactory, repair the defective wire.
- Interchange the Right Ice Detector (A66) with the Left Ice Detector (A65). Is the fault message still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, replace the defective Ice Detector.
- Replace the Stall Protection Computer (A178).
- Do close out.
