Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. If other brake system related fault codes are shown in B3-006384 fault code time frame, troubleshoot the other codes first.
NOTE: This code will be logged during power interruptions (C/B reset, BCU internal reset).
  2. Verify that there are no L ESS BUS related CAS messages. Troubleshoot as required.
  3. Reset the following circuit breakers.

Location CB Number CB Names Zone
    LCBP C15 INBD BRAKES 211
    LCBP D2 RDC A 211

    1. If fault disappears, no other action is required.
    2. If fault is still shown, go to next step.

  4. Carry out a wiring check per the following table:

From Connector Pin To Connector Pin
    A67P2 (BCU) 54 A13DP1 (RDC) 3A
    A67P2 (BCU) 55 A13DP1 (RDC) 3B

    1. Repair as required.
    2. If wiring is found serviceable, go to next step.

  5. Carry out a power check per the following table:

From Connector Pin To Connector Pin Expected Results
    A67P2 (BCU) 4 A67P2 (BCU) 5 ≈ 28 VDC

    1. Repair as required.

      1. If no fault found, replace BCU.
