Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Reset TCAS Circuit Breaker CB1-A6. Is the fault message still present?
    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, do close out.

  2. Do wiring check between TCAS (A5) and the TCAS Lower Antenna (E11) for the following cables:

    From To Results
    Conn. A5BP1 - 1 Conn. E11P1 - 1
    Conn. A5BP1 - 2 Conn. E11P1 - 2
    Conn. A5BP1 - 3 Conn. E11P1 - 3
    Conn. A5BP1 - 4 Conn. E11P1 - 4

    1. If check is satisfactory, continue with next step.
    2. If check is not satisfactory, repair defective cable.
NOTE: Conn. E11P1 - 2, Conn. E11P1 - 3 and Conn. E11P1 - 4 are not connected (bag & Stow) at TCAS Lower Antenna for Aircraft pre SB100-34-11. However, coaxial cables must be check.

  3. Replace TCAS Lower Antenna (E11). Is the fault message still present?
