(WARNING)
RED MESSAGE (CAUTION)
AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

Right MFD has reported the CCP failed. This failure is likely to be the result of a stuck CCP button. Suspect the CCP has a stuck button, wiring from CCP to MFD, or another CCP related malfunction.

Possible Causes:

  • Right Cursor Control Panel (CCP 2) (PL60)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Replace Left Cursor Control Panel (CCP 2) (PL60).
  2. Verify fault is cleared.

    1. If YES, go to step 5.
    2. If NO, continue with step 3.

  3. Perform wiring checks and repairs.
  4. Verify fault cleared.
  5. Perform close out.
