Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

The Left Bleed Pressure on the intermediate pressure stage has been detected below the minimum allowed limit of 15 psig. Check the value of the left bleed valve regulated pressure.

Possible Causes:

  • Bleed Pressure Sensor 1 (Left Bleed Pressure Transducer) (MT21)
  • Integrated Air System Controller 1 (IASC) (A55)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Reset the PRESS 1 / PACK circuit breaker CB1-D14.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. Do wiring check between the L BLEED PRESSURE SENSOR (MT21) and the IASC 1. Repair as required.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Swap L BLEED PRESSURE SENSOR (MT21) with the R BLEED PRESSURE SENSOR (MT22).

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Do the Operational Test of the Bleed Air System.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  5. Swap IASC 1 with the IASC 2.
  6. Do close out.
