RED MESSAGE (CAUTION)
AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

Left engine low oil pressure threshold exceedance occurred.

A Type 2 low oil pressure exceedance has been detected.

Possible Causes:

  • Low Oil Level
  • Oil Pressure Sensor
  • Last Chance Screen
  • Oil Filter Module
  • Fuel Heater Oil Cooler (FHOC)
  • Oil Pump

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Refer to Honeywell SIL AS907-14.
  2. MCID 2005 task present, isolate per the Light Engine Maintenance Manual Subtask 72-00-00-810-384-A01.
  3. Access the aircraft Maintenance Data Computer. Record the maintenance conditions. Refer to the Aircraft Maintenance Manual. If required, download ECFR data from the ECUs. (Refer to the Honeywell LEMM SUB TASK 72-00-00-000-201, Fault Isolation.) Review the ECFR data to determine the minimum and duration of the Type 1 low oil pressure exceedance.
