Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Cycle circuit breakers CB1-B7 (Left FGC) and CB2-B7 (Right FGC). Is the AP warning flag still displayed?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, do close out
- Use the Flight Control System (FCS) Advanced Diagnostics page to obtain the "AP DIS" code. The FCS Advanced Diagnostics can be accessed via the Cursor Control Panel (CCP) by pressing the "A/ICE", "ECS" and "FLT" buttons.
- If the crew witnessed Pitch or Roll behavior on disconnect, you may refer to the following CAS message troubleshooting pages.
- If a flight is required to duplicate the issue, it is recommended that the crew record the aircraft flying characteristics under full fuel conditions (8500 lbs) using the Aileron Trim & Control Worksheet.
- Swap the FGCs. Does the AP warning flag follow?
- If YES, replace bad FGC.
- If NO, continue with next step.
- Replace the IAPS (A4) card cage.
- Do close out.
