Troubleshooting recommendations:

  1. Make sure no engines or APU are running.
  2. Access and remove the Remote Data Concentrator Unit (RDC). Perform a continuity to ground check of the affected side Main Ejector Pressure Switch as follows:
NOTE: Continuity to ground = Low fuel pressure 28 VDC = Pressure

    Left Main Ejector Pressure Switch:

    From To Expected Result Result
    A13BP1-3F Ground Continuity

    Right Main Ejector Pressure Switch:

    From To Expected Result Result
    A13EP1-10G Ground Continuity

    1. If there is continuity to ground, replace the RDC and do close out.
    2. If there is no continuity to ground, continue with next step.

  3. Perform a 28 VDC voltage check on the affected side as follows:

    Left Main Ejector Pressure Switch:

    From To Expected Result Result
    A13BP1-3F Ground 0 VDC

    Right Main Ejector Pressure Switch:

    From To Expected Result Result
    A13EP1-10G Ground 0 VDC

    1. If there is 28 VDC, replace the affected Main Ejector pressure switch and do close out.
    2. If there is no 28 VDC, continue with next step.

  4. Perform a wiring check between the Main Ejector pressure switch and the RDCU as follows and repair defective wiring as required.

    Left Main Ejector Pressure Switch:

    From To Result
    A13BP1-3F S4P1-A

    Right Main Ejector Pressure Switch:

    From To Result
    A13EP1-10G S5P1-A

  5. Do close out.
