Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Toggle the Air Data source select switch on the Reversion select panel to the "NORM" position for dual ADC data to clear the PFD flag.

    1. If the ADC flag is removed, do close out.
    2. If the ADC flag is still present, continue with next step.

  2. Are there any ADC related CAS or MDC fault messages present?

    1. If YES, refer to the proper SmartFix Plus troubleshooting page.
    2. If NO, continue with next step.

  3. Swap ADC 1 with ADC 2. Is the ADC flag still present with the same ADC?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, reinstall the ADCs back in their original position and replace defective ADC if necessary.

  4. Swap PFD 1 with PFD 2. Is the ADC flag still present with the same ADC?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, reinstall the PFDs back in their original position and replace defective PFD if necessary.

  5. Swap MFD 1 with MFD 2. Is the ADC flag still present with the same ADC?

    1. If YES, continue with next step.
    2. If NO, reinstall the MFDs back in their original position and replace defective MFD if necessary.

  6. Remove both PFDs, both MFDs and the Reversion select panel. Perform a wiring check between the Reversion select panel and the PFDs/MFDs as follows and repair defective wiring if required:

    From To Result
    PL27P1-24 A26P2-40
    PL27P1-24 A28P2-40
    PL27P1-9 A27P2-40
    PL27P1-9 A29P2-40

NOTE: Make sure to also verify that the wiring is not short circuited to ground.

  7. Do close out.
