RED MESSAGE (CAUTION)
AMBER MESSAGE (ADVISORY)
CYAN MESSAGE (STATUS)
WHITE MESSAGE Require immediate crew attention. These messages are accompanied by flashing master warning, triple chime attenson with or without voice message or dedicated tone. Require immediate crew awareness and future crew action may be required in the form of alternate system selection or performance limitation. These message are accompanied by flashing master caution and a single chime. Indicate safe or normal system operation which require crew awareness, over and above the dark cockpit philosophy. Indicate minor failures or reduction in systems capability, which require no crew action.

Message Description:

The DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR 2 is detected failed. No signal is received or the signal is out of range. Check the sensor or the wiring to the sensor and the IASC # 2.

Possible Causes:

  • Differential Pressure Sensor 2 (MT24)
  • Integrated Air System Controller (IASC #2) (A56)
  • Junction Box 2 (JB2)
  • Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Reset the R WING / BLD LK circuit breakers CB2-E10.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. Swap the Differential Pressure Sensor 2 with the Differential Pressure Sensor 1.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Do wiring check between the Differential Pressure Sensor 1 (MT24) and the IASC 2. Repair as required.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Swap the IASC 2 with the IASC 1.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  5. Do wiring check between the Differential Pressure Sensor 2 (MT24) and the JB 2. Repair as required.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  6. Do wiring check of JB2. Replace Junction Box #2 as required.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  7. Do wiring check of JB2 and the Circuit Breaker CB2-E10. Repair as required.
  8. Do close out.
