Message Description:
CVR is reporting a RIPS (Recorder independent Power Supply) fault. Detailed Description RIPS Fault Discrete Conditions: -The battery cannot supply 10 minutes of load, or -The battery jumper is broken, or -Battery pack is not connected, or -Charger is not on when input power is normal (greater than 23V) and battery pack is not fully charged.

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Is the installed RIPS a MOD.1 or higher? (see AW300-23-0230 for detail)
- If the RIPS is a MOD .1 or higher, continue with the next step.
- If the RIPS is not MOD .1 or higher, replace the RIPS with MOD .1 or higher. Do close out.
- Remove the RIPS power supply from the tray.
- For testing purposes slave in the CVR in place. Is the fault still present?
- If YES, continue with next step.
- If NO, replace the RIPS power supply.
- Perform a wiring check between the RIPS power supply and the DCU. Repair defective wiring if required.
- Do close out.
