Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Reset circuit breakers CB1-B13 FLAP L IND, CB1-B14 FLAP CTRL and CB2-B12 FLAP R IND/CTRL.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If problem remains, continue to next step.
- Reset the FCU by pressing the FCU reset button on the MAINTENANCE TEST control-panel. If unable to reset, engage the Alternate Flaps button with the left hydraulic system pressurized, and attempt another reset using the Flap Reset switch on the left galley.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- Check the wiring integrity between FCU and Flap Alternate Supply Select Switch per AWM.
- Repair wiring as necessary per SPM.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If problem remain continue to next step.
- Check the Flap Alternate Supply Select Switch integrity by operating the switch and check for open circuit or continuity as per AWM.
- If faulty, replace the switch.
- If system checks are good, do close out.
- If fault remains, continue with next step.
- If fault remains, replace FCU.
- Do close out.
