Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Follow the circuit breakers reset procedure documented in AW300-27-0037.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  2. Do Electronic Rigging of the Spoiler Electronic-Control Unit.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  3. Visually inspect SECU's and tray's connectors for damages. Repair/replace as required.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  4. Swap SECUs.
NOTE: Perform electronic rigging of both SECUs when either SECU is swapped or replaced. The intent is if a SECU that is being installed was previously rigged in a different location in the same aircraft or it is being installed in a different aircraft or the SECU is a spare part it requires electronic rigging (AMM 27-61-05-820-802) per the instructions in AMM TASK 27-61-05-400-801 Installation of the Spoiler Electronic-Control Unit (SECU).

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  5. Do wiring checks between SECU 2 connector A119AP1 and Left outboard MFS PCU connector MPE39P1. Repair/replace as required.

    1. If system checks are good, do close out.
    2. If fault remains, continue with next step.

  6. Swap MFS PCUs.
    NOTE:

    • An Electronic Rigging of the SECUs is necessary after a MFS PCU swap/replacement.
    • Suspected MFS PCU wiring can be ringed-out and compared (values above are approximated) with another MFS PCU known to be functional.

  7. Do close out.
