Troubleshooting Recommendations:

  1. Make sure the Refuel/Defuel panel is set to OFF and reset CB3-C3 (FUEL QTY 1), CB4-C3 (FUEL QTY 2), CB2-B6 (R IAPS), waiting 10 seconds before pushing the breakers back.

    1. If fault is no longer in the Current Fault report, no other action is necessary.
    2. If fault is still present, go to next step.

  2. Verify if other LRUs have reported a missing ARINC input from R GP-5 bus.

    1. If YES, troubleshoot R IOC card.
    2. If NO, go to next step.

  3. Interchange IOC cards.

    1. If fault follows, replace faulty IOC card.
    2. If fault remains, re-install IOC cards to their original position and go to next step.

  4. Carry out wiring checks.

    FQGC A57BP1 pin 82 JB3 JB3AP1 pin C8 Continuity

    1. If wiring defects are found, repair/replace as required.
    2. If wiring is found serviceable, go to next step.

  5. Re-rack the Fuel Quantity Gauging Computer (FQGC). Is the fault message still present?

    1. If YES, go to next step.
    2. If NO, do close out.

  6. Replace FQGC.
  7. Do close out.
