Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Ring-out the wiring between the DCU and the Flight Data Recorder (A145), correct any problems.
- If the wiring checks good, use of ground support equipment to read the FDR faults may be required to help isolate the problem to the data concentrator unit or the accelerometer.
- Check the wiring between the DCU Channel A to the Flight Data Recorder (FDR).
- Verify the power input and grounds to the accelerometer (A146).
- Ring-out the normal, lat and long accelerometer outputs to the DCU (A14) unit, correct any problems.
- If the wiring is good, replace the FDR.
- Do close out.
