Left GPS is reporting an internal failure, a RF Interface fault or a sensor fault.
Possible Causes:
- Left Global Positioning Receiver (GPS 1) (A25)
- Left Global Positioning Antenna (E3)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
For single GPS installation Aircraft
- Reset GPS1 circuit breaker CB1-A3. Is the fault message still present?
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Do wiring check for the following cable between the left Global Positioning Receiver (A25) and the left Global Positioning Antenna (E3):
From To Result Conn. A25CP1 Conn. E3P1 - If the check is satisfactory, continue with next step.
- If the check is not satisfactory, repair or replace the defective cable.
- Replace the Global Positioning Receiver (A25). Is the fault message still present?
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace the left Global Positioning Antenna (E3).
- Do close out.
For dual GPS installation Aircraft
- Reset GPS1 circuit breaker CB1-A3. Is the fault message still present?
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Do wiring check for the following cable between the left Global Positioning Receiver (A25) and the left Global Positioning Antenna (E3):
From To Result Conn. A25CP1 Conn. E3P1 - If the check is satisfactory, continue with next step.
- If the check is not satisfactory, repair or replace the defective cable.
- Swap the left Global Positioning Receiver (A25) with the right Global Positioning Receiver (A24). Is the fault message still present?
- If NO, replace the defective Global Positioning Receiver.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Replace the left Global Positioning Antenna (E3).
- Do close out.
