Message Overview:
Message Description:
DCU Ch. B data bus (B-DCU-2) is reported absent by the right MFD, while it is not reported absent by at least 2 of the following: Left PFD, left MFD and right PFD.
Possible Causes:
- Adaptive Flight-Display Unit 'A429 Input' (R MFD) (A28)
- Junction Box 4 (JB4)
- Associated Wiring

Troubleshooting Recommendations:
- Reset R MFD Circuit Breaker CB2-C5. Is the fault message still present?
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Swap R MFD (A28) with R PFD (A26). Is the fault message still present?
- If NO, do close out.
- If YES, continue with next step.
- Do wiring check between R MFD (A28), through JB4, and the other AFDs for the following wires:
From: To: Result: Conn. A28P2 - 23 Conn. A26P2 - 23 Conn. A28P2 - 24 Conn. A26P2 - 24 Conn. A28P2 - 23 Conn. A27P2 - 23 Conn. A28P2 - 24 Conn. A27P2 - 24 Conn. A28P2 - 23 Conn. A29P2 - 23 Conn. A28P2 - 24 Conn. A29P2 - 24 - If the check is not satisfactory, repair defective wiring or replace defective JB4.
- If the check is satisfactory, continue with next step.
- Do close out.
